Kaffe is celebrating Rowan's 40 year anniversary with his own personal selection of "Kaffe's Colours". 8 new shades of Rowan Felted Tweed, selected by Kaffe....and you know that means they are bright! Zinnia, Turquoise, Pink Bliss, Barbara, Vaseline Green, Bright Green, Lotus Leaf and Iris.....8 gorgeous bright additions to the already 31 shade strong palette of Rowan Felted Tweed! These designs are mostly scarves and shawls...minimal shaping, high on colour impact and visual design! There is one lovely classic Kaffe pullover! I've already cast on one project from this collection....you'll have to watch and see which one :) Happy Knitting Anne x with Daisy still curled up at her feet :)

It may be hot hot hot outside, but it's time for Rowan's Autumn Winter 2018/19 Seasonal Release! I've been a Rowan Ambassador (blogger) for 5 years now....and this is Rowan's 40th Anniversary! March was a month to catch my breath after the frenzy of knitting Lerwick for 4 months steady! I tidied up my living room (OMG it was a nightmare) and put everything away that I'd received during those months, and all of the things I'd pulled out to look at or play with from my stash! My March Update Video is up and here's what I cover.... 1:19 Edinburgh Yarn Festival! March was EYF month. Instagram was full of EYF posts....and the EYF video blogs are out too! Did you go? Have you been? Do you want to go some day? EYF is a unique fibre fest.....held in the Edinburgh Corn Exchange building....knitters come from all over the world to this event. The EYF organizers invite podcasters to come...provide a "podcaster lounge" for them to meet and greet (each other and their on line community). The lounge this year was sponsored by Blacker Yarns...I'm sure all of the podcasters were thrilled to be there and enjoyed every minute. I know I'm not the us...

MY YEAR OF FAIR ISLE February just zoomed past...my Mother used to tell me that time flies faster as you get older...and she was right! (Mother's usually are, we just don't know it at the time.) I'd set a goal to finish my Marie Wallin Fair Isle Club 3 project - Lerwick - by the end of the Olympics...or the end of February....whichever worked best. I was determined to finish, as I'd fallen off the schedule for the Fair Isle Club 1 blanket, and it still is far from finished. This was a goal I intended to keep! I DID IT!!!
