Join me at the Gone Stitchin' 2018 knit camp! Julie at  The Needle Emporium has been hosting knit camp for many years...this is my second time attending! Rowan's 40th Anniversary was featured in camp events....along with knit technique classes and yarn dyeing on the patio! The food at the Bayview Wildwood Resort is wonderful! This is just a little taste of the weekend....and an overview of the Friday night fashion show which features all of the designs that are popular right now AND the Rowan 40th Anniversary Trunk Show garments! It's been so darn hot here that I know these two haven't had as much walkie time as they should....but the temperature is dropping, there is a breeze....and they are insisting....so off we go!

Kaffe is celebrating Rowan's 40 year anniversary with his own personal selection of "Kaffe's Colours". 8 new shades of Rowan Felted Tweed, selected by Kaffe....and you know that means they are bright! Zinnia, Turquoise, Pink Bliss, Barbara, Vaseline Green, Bright Green, Lotus Leaf and Iris.....8 gorgeous bright additions to the already 31 shade strong palette of Rowan Felted Tweed! These designs are mostly scarves and shawls...minimal shaping, high on colour impact and visual design! There is one lovely classic Kaffe pullover! It may be hot hot hot outside, but it's time for Rowan's Autumn Winter 2018/19 Seasonal Release! I've been a Rowan Ambassador (blogger) for 5 years now....and this is Rowan's 40th Anniversary! Both milestones to celebrate! So first up, my overview of Rowan's Magazine 64. August 15 was the official release date for the new Rowan Yarns Autumn/Winter collection! I've been a fan of Rowan Yarns FOREVER! As a Rowan Brand Ambassador, I am provided with samples of new yarns, and copies of brochures for review. (Opinions are my own :) Watch out for the bonus content at the end :) CHECK OUT THE NEW ROWAN WEB SITE AT WWW.KNITROWAN.COM !  There are a few bugs and teething issues....totally expected with the redesign and launch of a web site that is this HUGE!!! so be patient and things will get sorted! :) Happy Knitting! Aha, a podcaster lounge! These "Podcasters" are celebrities in their world of video blogging and they were there in the lounge to connect to each other and to meet and greet their followers!
