Hello Anne, Gorgeous Rowan 54. I love Bizet. It is knitted in 4 ply, has fairisle and is a timeless design.
ReplyDeleteHappy knitting
Stephanie
Bizet is a timeless design...you'll wear it forever!
DeleteYou had to click to get the larger photo to truly see how beautiful this design is.....and the motif on the cuff of the sleeve.
Good luck in the draw Stephanie!
Thank you Anne. Those cuffs are beautiful. I can't wait. Congratulations on becoming a Rowan Ambassador. This is an inspired innovation by Rowan.
DeleteI'm captivated by Armenia. Anne, I loved seeing your Rowan Ambassador profile in the June Rowan newsletter.
ReplyDeleteArmenia is gorgeous. One of the RAs is knitting it....changed the shades.....gorgeous!
DeleteThank you for that! It was fun to answer their questions. I told them I could go on and on about knitting....I think thy believe me now!
Good luck in the draw!
I'd knit the Holbein, but only if I can take the model home with me.
ReplyDeleteAngela, you can always knit the sweater and hope..... :)
DeleteI fancy Marie's Sherry - love the colour too.
ReplyDeleteYou can't beat Kidsilk Haze for a luxurious knit Donna...gorgeous!
DeleteGood luck in the draw!
I always struggle to choose what to knit first when my Rowan magazine arrives, but have finally settled on Angela. Love the cables!
ReplyDeleteI love the look of Angela too. Those poor slim models really don't do this sweater justice. There has been conversation on Ravelry about the depth of the Raglan....so have a look at that!
ReplyDeleteGood luck to you too Linda!
Armenia! It would be a challenge, but how beautiful!
ReplyDeleteArmenia is rated for the "average" knitter! I know you aren't average in any way! You can do this! :)
DeleteGood luck in the draw!
Congratulations on your being in the new Rowan Magazine. I have quite a collection of them, going back to the beginning issues. I would love to win the #54.
ReplyDeleteI am a fan of Kate Davies' designs, and her Nepal wrap would be such a quick knit. Thanks for offering the magazine, I'd love to win it!
ReplyDeleteSo hard to choose a fave since I've only seen Marie Wallin's review and haven't yet gone over the Rowan review you talked about here. I was taken (as always) by several of Kaffe's designs. It was mainly the awesome photography and models which drew me in. Frankly I have not purchased the big Rowan mags for several years - it got to the point that there wasn't anything in there that could be worn by a slightly overweigh short 50something woman so I just quite purchasing.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway opp - Melody
Please throw my name into the hat! If I win I will qualify for the alternate prize since you convinced me to sign up for the Rowan subscription in your last post. :-)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your being in the new Rowan Magazine.
ReplyDeleteI'm in love with Corelli by Jennie Atkinson. This Jacket is so cute.
I would love to win, because I must knit 'Corelli'. Thank you for offering No.54.
best regards,
Astrid

Congrats!!
ReplyDeleteMy favourite pattern is Armenia.
Thanks!

The Rowan magazine is not available in any store in Rhode Island that I can find! Sigh. Many LYS s have closed. I would love to make Anatolia, if I could size it to fit a woman of my age!
ReplyDeleteLand Girl's Fairisle - love the combo of fairisle and cables!
ReplyDeleteAngela would definitely be my first project. Love it! Thank you for the give away.
