Fun in the snow!
We've lived here for over 20 tears,,,,and have always had the services of a friendly farmer neighbour to help us out with snow blowing our driveway....
Alan retired.....our friendly farmer retired.....from snow blowing that is. The FF explained that with his own father "retiring" from farm business, the onus is on him.....and 100+ cows to milk twice a day, along with everything else that needs to be done, well, frankly, I couldn't blame him for not wanting to come out and do all of our driveways!
So a decision had to be made.....find another provider of snow removal services or......
...do it yourself!
This blower looked huge when we bought it.....but faced with a long driveway full of snow, we wondered if we'd chosen the right machine. Never fear - DH did a fabulous job with his new toy, er...machine!
Of course I was all warm and cosy taking these photos from inside!

Looks like a lot of work to me.
ReplyDeleteI hope he doesn't wax his new toy, like someone I know, who waxes his lawn mower. :)
My neighbour next door has a snowblower, and it's his pride and joy, lol. And so far this winter, it's been the best thing ever.
