Duxbury Point - commences

While on vacation I started the sleeve......it's gorgeous (if I do say so myself).

I love the way the cuff is worked so that it flows into the body of the sweater. The shade I'm using is Lockmaben - don't you just love that name? Lochmaben is a small town in the Scottish south-west.

Duxbury Point has commenced!

  4. Really, really pretty. Cables are the most fun thing to knit - if I do say so myself. Looking forward to progress reports.

  6. I noticed this one has joined the zzz category.
Did you fall out of love with it, or just more in love with something else? I know, I'm always guilty of falling more in love with something new ;)

Question about this yarn? Is it softer than the Elsbeth Lavold silky wool? or about the same? That's a really high silk noil content, and although I love silk, silk noil isn't truly my favorite fiber. But this looks soft and yet your cables are showing beautifully.
