Duxbury Point - commences
While on vacation I started the sleeve......it's gorgeous (if I do say so myself).
I love the way the cuff is worked so that it flows into the body of the sweater. The shade I'm using is Lockmaben - don't you just love that name? Lochmaben is a small town in the Scottish south-west.
Duxbury Point has commenced!
Anne- The color is amazing. And the cables really pop.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoy cablework.
The start of the sleeve is just lovely. Makes me want to go out and buy the book :)
ReplyDeleteYes, gorgeous! I love cables that look like they're braided! m :)
ReplyDeleteReally, really pretty. Cables are the most fun thing to knit - if I do say so myself. Looking forward to progress reports.
ReplyDeleteLooks beautiful Anne! wow :) I'm SO tempted! what yarn are you using?? Let me know ... I may just have to put an order in *grin*
ReplyDeleteI noticed this one has joined the zzz category.
ReplyDeleteDid you fall out of love with it, or just more in love with something else? I know, I'm always guilty of falling more in love with something new ;)
Question about this yarn? Is it softer than the Elsbeth Lavold silky wool? or about the same? That's a really high silk noil content, and although I love silk, silk noil isn't truly my favorite fiber. But this looks soft and yet your cables are showing beautifully.
