2021 - My Year of Colourful Intention

With a new year, and new hope in the form of vaccines on the horizon.....2021 looks like yet more opportunity for reflective knitting, so this year I’ve decided to consciously focus on Colourful Knitting! In the past I’ve done a lot of stranded knitting....and yes, I love a good stranded knit. But for 2021, with a feeling of inspiration in oh so many ways....I’ve decided to finally get a grip on... INTARSIA Intarsia is making a comeback....and this time I refuse to be left behind!!! Who else to design intarsia that entices....but Kaffe Fassett. Kaffe and his colourful knitting has been in the forefront throughout the history of the Rowan Yarns Magazines. These last few years Rowan has produced brochures dedicated to the designs of Kaffe Fassett and Kaffe himself has added to the range of shades in the Felted Tweed range! 2020 - What a Year!

Lackie could not resist snuggling up to the 2020 knit pile! With the end of 2020, a review of my knit projects seems appropriate......after the longest, most intense session of knitting I have ever experienced! Being under “stay home, stay safe” orders, only going out when necessary, really gave me serious knit time and I put it to good use!
