Sneak Peak

Anyone who reads this blog has got to know that I'm a fan, a BIG FAN of Jamiesons Shetland yarns.....so much so that I have a basement full of Shetland Spindrift, Heathered Aran and Traditional Aran, that I "share" with my fellow traditional-knitting buddies via my home based business.

Well, for the latest news, check out the sneak peak of the new
Simply Shetland 4 at Tomales Bay
that will be coming out this fall.....

As you scroll through the designs, you'll see Eunny Jang's "Autumn Rose Pullover", done in the traditional Jamieson's Shetland Spindrift fingering weight yarn.

You'll also see that Simply Shetland are doing new yarns, Silk and Shetland Lambswool and Shetland Lambswool and Cashmere. The Silk and Shetland Lambswool is a fingering weight, interchangeable with the Shetland Spindrift.....but I'm not sure what weight the Lambswool and Cashmere is......I'll let you know what I find out.

Oh joy, oh bliss.......

Happy Dance Knitting!

  5. Wow - I just love these. The man's cabled sweater is great but I just love Eunny's - I love the shaping! (the colours are not me at all, though..)

So Anne, are you thinking of making kits for any of these??

  6. Ok, so I'm completely and utterly in love with Eunny's design. I only have one issue with it. The neckline is just a little bit too low for me. How hard do you think it would be to make it one motif higher on the front before the neck shaping?

  7. Gosh Anne, the Iverness is a must have...Eunny's newest is lovely. Wish I were slim and trim again.

Thanks for the tour. How about the Lambswool and Cashmere. Sounds terrific.
