Fine Art Aran Giveaway Update!

There have been some good guesses as to what design I will knit out of the ...
"Simple Shapes Fine Art Aran"

Durkar seems to be the clear winner in your guesses....but I am NOT knitting Durkar....hmmm, maybe I should be :)

GIVEAWAY UPDATE!

Since nobody has picked the design I am knitting.....I am going to change it up! This is my blog....so I can do that :)

So now, tell me what design you'd like to make from the "Simple Shapes Fine Art Aran" booklet....click through on the link above and go to the Rowan web site...have a look!  Then leave a comment below with your favourite design.....for a chance to win my extra skeins of Fine Art Aran!

Everyone who has already commented on my original post is entered in the draw for my extra skeins of and yes, you CAN enter again!

I might have 4 (or even 5!) extra skeins....so this is a great opportunity to "win" this yarn!

Anyone who also guesses what I'm knitting will get an extra entry for the draw.....

The back is done....it took 2.5 skeins......

I have to tell you.....NO PHOTOGRAPH does justice to this yarn.  The colours in this photo are brighter than in real life. I never thought that space dyed yarns were my thing....but I love the hand of this yarn....I love the stitch definition....and I love how the cables look!  The pooling does change throughout the knitted piece...you have to just let go and enjoy!

Space Dyed yarn just keeps coming back over and over.  While browsing Pinterest, I came across these two examples......

This Space-Dyed yarn Poncho Sweater is by Michael Kors

This Space-Dyed yarn sweater from Missoni is in a subtle grey colour way

Ute, one of my fellow Rowan bloggers, used a Rowan design for an aran weight yarn, knit it up in Fine Art Aran...and it is spectacular!  You can check it out here!

4 or 5 FREE skeins of Rowan Fine Art Aran......what are you waiting for!  PLEASE DON'T FORGET TO LEAVE CONTACT INFO - A RAVELRY NAME OR YOUR BLOG ADDRESS?!?

Happy Knitting,

Anne

Good find, Anne! Personally, I'm WAY into the Rowan Fine Art sock yarn. Have been really on a sock knitting spree with it this summer. It's a great way to explore how the space dyeing can be put to different effect.
