February Update - Summer Project on the Needles!

February was brutal here at Life LDC! The weather was horrendous....so L&D and I snuggled up on the couch and got going on a summer project!

A bit of swatching happened along the way.

    Whichever dog is burrowing in the snow ... Too cute!
    The brioche hat is too big, it will likely drive you nuts falling down over your face, so I vote you rip it out. Great stripey hoodie - I like it.

    Another lovely video. I generally enjoy your chats whilst I eat my breakfast! I don't think the brioche hat looks right.... a bit too big. I vote for undoing it and starting again. Happy knitting!

    poor little snow dog - so cute! I don't care for the Brioche hat either. There is a better use of your time. Love your You Tube - hope you keep it up. I love your Revive hoodie sleeve! Here's hoping spring is coming - April just around the corner - cheers !

Advent Knit Challenge - Finale

Happy New Year!  I really fell out of communication here and on youtube with my 2022 Advent Knit challenge, didn’t I? Well, here are the 3 videos that detail what I had planned, how I progressed and while I didn’t finish as per the schedule I’d set myself….it is finished and I’m happy! This first video details the plan…..and also has updates on my sock knitting. This video was my week 1 update….and then, well, things all got complicated and I disappeared until well, right now! February 17, 2023! Yes, I’ve finished the gorgeousWonderland Shawl by Chloe Thurlow! It’s such an effective design - easy intarsia blocks broken up with a horizontal line…..and finished off with vertical crochet or embroidered lines for that tartan look!
